A tribute to the Italian-American food and heritage of what so many Americans grew up with and enjoyed at
restaurants throughout the country.
‘redsauce’ the name, the restaurant, and the concept is a tribute to the Italian American food and heritage of what so many Americans grew up with and enjoyed at restaurants throughout the country. These restaurants, scattered throughout the densely populated Italian American neighborhoods, were very recognizable and similar and collectively became known as ”redsauce joints”.
The intention of ‘redsauce’ is not to be the same as Italian restaurants of the past but to pay respect to them and adhere to the unchanged old school traditions in the best and most authentic way. The menu of redsauce is by no means contemporary. Quite the contrary and more to the point it is downright predictable, simple and familiar... and oh so delicious.
We hope that you enjoy your dining experience as passionately as we enjoy bringing it to you.
